Our 30-minute Focus Sessions are great for younger learners, those who have limited time in their schedules, or for those who want to focus on one, individual skill, like grammar, test preparation, or fractions. This is also the most wallet-friendly option at $33 per session.

If you have a little more time to spare, then our Immersive Sessions might be right for you. The 45-minute session length is good for upper elementary, middle, and high school kids looking to improve their writing, reading, math skills, or to prepare for tests with longer reading passages or real-world math problems. This session length is offered for $50 per session.

The hour-long Intensive Session is perfect for upper elementary, middle or high school learners who are looking to sharpen more than just one skill. This is generally enough time to tackle an entire practice math test or read a text, answer multiple choice questions, and complete a short-essay written response all in one session! You get the most bang for your buck with this session for $65 per session.

What Services are Included with a Tutoring Purchase?

Initial Conversation. Tutors Heather and Doug ask about your child, your concerns, any recent or upcoming school assessments, and your child's academic goals.
Diagnostic Assessment. Administered during the first session, it assesses strengths and learning gaps in the concepts your child is to study with Heather or Doug.

Diagnostic Results & Tutoring Plan. Parents receive a detailed email with the diagnostic results and an individualized learning plan.

Session Reports. After each session, we send an email detailing the activities your child completed, their progress, and any other relevant information.
Private, Personalized Attention. We provide a private Zoom classroom, so your child can learn in the comfort of their own home. Resources are chosen according to your child's strengths, academic gaps, personal interests, learning style, and academic goals. These include interactive whiteboards, games, high-interest readings, and more.

Homework is Optional. It is given at the parent's request, but it isn't mandatory. Yes, it's great to get in a little extra practice between sessions. But if it will pile on more stress to your child's already busy week, then it may be best to skip it.
